Exploring the Effect of Team Identification on International Students’ Adjustment to Higher Education in the United States

International students have been continuously transitioning to U.S. colleges in pursuit of high-quality education and social mobility opportunities. Multiple studies dealt with the adjustment international their process a new environment. The purpose our study is explore if college sports fan identification can contribute this population’s process. This used lived experiences from 10 graduate regarding how that helped them adjust American colleges. Results showed answers derived two themes: academic adjustments. Social was specified as sense belonging finding way relax burden. results help both student office athletic departments utilize environments.
